Marie Hatch, Certified Coach

Marie’s greatest passion centers on empowering people to discover, leverage and thrive in their strengths and to live in joy.  She is an experienced group facilitator and speaker who serves as adjunct faculty with the Thayer Leader Development Group.

Marie graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management in 2000.  After a year with the 101st Airborne Division(Air Assault), she was asked to assess for a position in the elite 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne).   She became the unit’s Public Affair’s officer in January of 2002, on the cusp of the release of “Blackhawk Down” and the first casualties from the global war on terror.  Marie completed Green platoon, the unit’s specialized training, and deployed to Afghanistan in June 2002.  She became active in the unit’s Gold-Star Family program, assisting and supporting families of fallen soldiers within the unit.  In May of 2005, she left the Army to focus on increasing responsibilities at home. Marie has spent the last 8 years mentoring officers, spouses, and cadets at the United States Military Academy.  She and her husband are part of a Christian organization called The Navigators.  She has spoken and led workshops at prayer breakfasts and conferences throughout the military work for the Navigators.

Marie enjoys swimming, hiking and playing card and board games with her husband, four children, and goldendoodle.  She enjoys her family’s chickens and bees as well as science and history museums.
